Is there an explanation?

Yes, and for those who were/are wondering what the differences are between anime and cartoons that originate in the US I plan on posting an explanation in the next couple of days.

"What do you mean you want to check your email?"

I'm sure most everyone has been in a similar situation as what I'm about to describe. A little background for those who may have stumbled across my blog and don't know me. I am in college and live in one of the on campus apartments. Anyway on with the show, last night when I went to check my email the internet connection from my room was working sporadically for about an hour. So I thought that I might post about the situation, what little of a connection I had quit shortly before I posted. When I last checked around noon today still no connection at all, not even the sporadic variety, which would have been an improvement over late last night. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't happen frequently. The only way that I am able to make this post is because I am at the library.

Misunderstood animation

Lately it seems as if either I've overheard bits of conversations or been in ones with people who don't really appear to understand anime. True I don't claim to be an expert but at least I try to keep an open mind when watching anime. Whenever I meet someone who doesn't understand anime and is still critisizing it anyway, I just have to shake my head and mentally laugh. Not at them exactly but just at their inability to understand. True, I use to be exactly the same way a few years ago until I actually started watching anime. Whenever asked why I watch anime I do my best to expalian. I also at least attempt to explain the diffence between anime and cartoons here in the US. Am I always succesful in getting the people who ask to understand? No, but at least I did my best to explain.
