Last Chance

Has anyone else noticed that in movie theaters the "Last Chance" concession stands are rarely, if ever, staffed? I realized this the other day when I was thinking back on a visit to a local movie theater a few months back. When I thought even more on it I realized that it was the same way in other theaters that I had been too as well. This was at different times so it's not exactly that at such and such time every day theaters just don't staff these "last chances." I don't exactly understand this because the theater could be making more money if they were to staff these concession stands. Yes, I realize that they may not want to staff these because they hadn't gotten much money but to see them empty all of the time is still almost funny.
