Coffee good, Decaf bad

Lately it seems as if I've heard a lot of people ragging on coffee. My only response to that is "Shut up, you don't know what you're talking about." Of course I'm typically to nice to say that because it's usually friends who criticize coffee. I've heard that coffee has numerous potential health benefits. Even if it didn't offer the potential health benefits I'd still drink it because hey, it tastes great if brewed correctly. So no matter what anyone says, friend or otherwise, I keep drinking coffe unless I gain a medical condition preventing me from doing so.

You are the weakest link...goodbye!

I think that it's past due for me to see if it's too late for me to kick my current roommate out and find a new one. Seriously it's safe to say that if I don't hate my roommate than I have an incredible dislike of him and his idiotic friends. What makes them so bad is that they think that they're so smart...well ok so they do seem to be intelligent but they totally apply it incorrectly. They apply it towards stupid stuff. I won't go into what they do into that.

You read it here first...

Today at dinner I was sitting with a group of friends and one of them who's a dental hygine major was trying to get people to come in so that she could look at their teeth. I guess that that must be a requirement for one of her classes but when she asked me I thought "Um, no sorry. You're cute but not that cute." I probably should have agreed but I have issues with having someone sticking all those instruments in my mouth and plus those latex gloves taste nasty. I know that the gloves aren't the point and they aren't supposed to taste great. Seriously if the gloves tasted like strawberry or root beer or something that wasn't so latexy, a dentist visit might just be that much more enjoyable.

Insert title here

I watched Cinderella Man last night. It was an alright movie nothing to get all worked up about. I admit that the acting was fairly good. Certian aspects of the story was pretty much like every other boxing movie I've ever seen. Underdog takes all. Sorry if you've never seen the movie but that's what happens. I liked that he was able to keep winning and able to help his family but in a way, even though I enjoy it when the underdog wins, I'm tired when the little guy pretty much always wins in movies. Is it just me that's getting tired of that formula? Still a good movie overall.

First of Second

Today was te first day of the spring semester. Nothing special since it was just a typical first day, which means that we got the syllabus for the course and went over it and questions were answered. After all that released early, nothing special. I think that most of my courses will be fine and only expect trouble with my Human Anatomy course. I haven't had any anatomy courses since my senior year in high school, in other words four years ago. I hope that I remember enough to make it through the course well enough.

A funny thing about my anatomy course is that my professor had everyone say what their major is and most are pre-med, physical education and things of that sort and what am I other than the odd ball. Psychology. Yep, pretty much from left field in terms of what one might expect of one to be taking the course. But than again I am going for a B.S. in psychology which means I have to take more in math or science. With that said it may make more sense to you that I'm taking an anatomy course. Well, ok not funny ha ha but still amusing.

Activate hyperdrive...now

Travel using hyperspeed may be possible in the near future. If the "hyperspace" engine were come to fruition than travel to Mars would be possible in around three hours. To me this is exciting but then again I've been dreaming about this type of thing about as long as I've been reading science fiction, as I'm sure a lot of people have as one point or another.

I found out about this at Third World County.

Osmosis of thought

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about school starting back up in little over a week. I'm excited but at the same time I won't get to sleep in. I enjoy school most of the time, it's just I tend to not get enough sleep. My fault I know. This upcoming semester should be packed with some decent classes which I'll have to stay on top of studing for, which isn't bad but just something that I'll have to keep in mind.

I am actually looking forward to the semester but like I said with the staying on top of the sleep and studying; obviously not at the same time since studing via osmosis doesn't work. Or does it? I should end the post before I depart into an entirely nonsensical region of thought.
